The scalar is scaling the image, and it will look "decent" but you will see there will be some softening in the image, so a small bit of quality will be lost. You will then be back at full screen, however the image will not be perfect. Then use Smart Scaling to set the screen to 100% size. Basically, run native resolution then go to Display Mode, and select a screen size you want emulated, like 21.5" on 1920x1080. (Not sure about the LG 24GM77, you can try).
